Cattle grazing biologically valuable Latvian meadows at golden hour

In balance with nature

Sita Nature Park doesn't work against nature, it works with it. We protect Natura 2000 grasslands through regular mowing and grazing, stopping overgrowth and keeping these meadows biodiverse. The biomass this work produces becomes pellet products for farms and growers.

Who we are

Connecting nature conservation with practical agriculture.

Latvia's biologically valuable grasslands, protected under the Natura 2000 network, need regular mowing or grazing to stay open and support biodiversity. Sita Nature Park manages these meadows and turns the harvested biomass into pellet products for farms, stables, nurseries, and growers.

What we make

Four products, one circular idea.

We start with biomass from managed Latvian grasslands. Then, where it adds value, we enrich each pellet with beneficial microorganisms.

Our pellet products are developed within the EU LIFE UpcyclingGrass project, in cooperation with Latvijas Dabas Fonds and BioEffect.

The nature park

A living landscape of meadows, cattle and deer.

Sita Nature Park is a managed landscape, not a concept on paper. Cattle and deer graze the meadows, keeping them open and biologically valuable. Every product begins with the biomass those grasslands produce.

Circular by design

Circular value from Latvian grasslands.

Biomass collected through landscape management becomes useful pellet products and can return to the soil.
